Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and television host best known as the presenter of The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of a very troubled background. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from her own illness called Polio. She had a lot of trouble with her mother while growing as a teenager. Sheryl claims that in one instance her mother stabbed her father for getting too close to her. Sheryl joined up the military shortly after graduating from the college. Her passion was comedy. She was the sole female to make it through the competition in 1989 Miller Lite Comedy Search. Her first TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest in the show Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. She is currently a co-host on Talk Talk since the year 2011. She's appeared in fictitious series like Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
