Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin was born in Wellington, Manitoba. She grew up there. She made her acting debut as Flora McGrath, her character in the romance film Piano. Paquin is a native of New Zealand, born in Wellington but born and raised in Winnipeg began her acting career with The Piano. At age 11, she became the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Canada on the 24th July of 1982. She is a Canadian-born New Zealander actress. In 1993 she won an Academy Award at age 11 as the curious and talking child that was Holly Hunter who played the principal role. After responding to a call for auditions, she was able to audition at the age of nine, and with little acting experience before that the actress was chosen for Flora McGrath's role. Flora was the daughter of the Scottish pianist, who was deaf. The couple moved from Scotland to New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century in an effort to plan a wedding. After moving into America, she was a teenager. United States, she became an adult. Paquin had a small part in the role of Jane Eyre's title character while she was just a young girl in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) and a lead part in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin played Frankie Addams as a child in the 1996 television adaptation of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin was also in the role of Queen of Spain, in Steven Spielbergs 1997 feature film Amistad. She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as her polexia Aphrodisa girl in Almost Famous (2000).
