Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin was born in the city of Winnipeg, but was raised in the city of Wellington. She was the first actress to make her acting debut in Flora McGrath in romantic drama film, The Piano. Paquin is a native of Winnipeg she grew up in Wellington she made her first appearance as Flora McGrath when she played the role in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 as Best Supporting Actress. Paquin played Frankie Addams, a character in Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In addition, she played queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played Polexia Aphrodisa character in Almost Famous (2000).
