Anna Paquin was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington. She made her acting debut as Flora McGrath in romantic drama film, The Piano. She portrayed teenagers on the screen in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) and portrayed the character of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa as a character in Almost Famous (2000).
