Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of skills, such as being able perform, direct, produce, write plays teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is the daughter of a Briton, and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. In her early years, Anna appeared on several television commercials. Anna relocated from Toronto in 1999 to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at an Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her husband in the year 2009. Anna changed her religion to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and then they re-wed at a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton.
